The Sixth Sense (1999) -
The reason i love this film so much is because of how well Bruce Willis and Haley Joel Osment connect as friends throughout the film. The concept behind the film is amazing in which the young actor has a problem with the fact that he can see ghosts and he can speak to them. The journey he takes in order to get help and help himself is phenomenal, we see examples of how he sees and speaks to the ghosts and what he does in order to get them to go away which has some great special effects and has an amazing musical score. One thing that makes the film amazing is the fate of Bruce Willis' character at the ending of the film, it leaves the audience shocked but amazed because once you find out, its so evident throughout the film and it leaves the viewers stunned at how they didn't realise it when watching the film.

Toy Story (1995)-
The reason this film influences me is because of how amazing the animation is for its time. There wasn't really any films out before it that had that good of an animation. There was very good animated films out before toy story but toy story has good 3D model animations and it was praised for that when it was released. I think the story behind it is very original as well, they take something that a lot of people dont necessarily think about or have much care for and have taken it and given it life as if these toys are real people. It makes you feel more sympathy for things like this when you give it a voice and a personality even though its simply a piece of plastic or a plush teddy bear. It also flips the idea about how children have that one childhood toy that they will always love and think about for the rest of their lives. Instead it shows the perspective of the toy and how their devoted to making their owner happy and never leaving their side.
This will help us when making our opening because we are not just getting inspiration from one specific genre, but we are looking all different genres and looking for things that might make our better by incorporating those things.
