Institutional Logos

Here we have the big six movie company logos, they are very high quality and are all very different in comparison to each other. They all have a very unique font which makes them stand out from all the other company logos. When these logos are shown in the films opening, it will generally have an animation of the fonts within its logo. So for example, with Universal, it shows the camera tracking over the globe whilst the word 'universal' pans over and becomes the logo. The reason behind this is so it makes the company stand out and they wouldn't be able to do that unless they had a large budget to be able to construct such a complicated logo animation. On the other hand, with independent logos, they have less variety in terms of font styles and colour scheme. Typically with independent logos, they wont be animated within their openings because the production company simply doesnt have enough money to make a high quality logo.

This will help when constructing our opening because it we get an idea of how independent and mainstream logos differ and how we can use that and put it into our opening.
